Service rates are divided into two categories: design and maintenance.

The overall "look" of your website and construction of it are part of the design phase. This involves a one-time fee based on the complexity of your site. This price also includes domain name and hosting capabilities for the first year if so desired.

Keeping your site up and running is the maintenance phase. Domain names are generally reserved on a "per year basis". This, along with server space for your site, are recurring yearly fees. Content updates to your site can be handled two different ways. For businesses, sports teams, and other “dynamic” organizations which have a high turnover of content, a yearly service contract is recommended which covers all changes. For more “static” websites, such as for a vacation homepage, hourly rates would apply for any required updates.
